Umeå Energi Bredband provides a robust and reliable digital infrastructure, which forms the basis for how modern societies function and communicate. We are proud to deliver one of Sweden's most extensive city networks where 99.6% of all households in the Umeå region have access to fiber with up to 1GB speed. Our city network / fiber infrastructure is worth protecting and further developing - this is where you come into the picture.

About the role:

You will be part of Broadband Product Management, a central function within the Broadband business. Here you will have many external contacts, including business customers, stakeholder organizations, networks and customer surveys. Internally, you will work closely with our technicians, Sales & Marketing, Business IT, Finance and Distribution, who are responsible for connecting new customers to our network. As a Business and Product Developer, your main focus will be to balance customer satisfaction and business profitability. A good understanding of systems and the ability to digitize / streamline our processes is an important starting point for navigating the business challenges we face.

You will get a job with variety in everyday life where you, together with your team, identify small and large improvements in the existing product portfolio, which consists of network and capacity services for both individuals, companies and associations / communities. You are also responsible for driving major business development initiatives based on a prioritized backlog. Your role includes business intelligence, data analysis, contract management, sales support, product management, requirements management, pricing and process development to name a few tasks.

The team consists of skilled Business and Product Developers and a delivery manager who leads the daily work.

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • Completed higher education that we consider relevant to the position
  • Documented experience in business and product development.

Advantageous:

  • Systems knowledge - Experience in IT, digital business development, architecture and requirements management
  • Finance - Experience in performance monitoring, contracts, legal
  • Product management - management and development of a product portfolio
  • Data analysis - Experience in monitoring, databases, statistics, analytics
  • Pricing - Experience working with pricing strategies and pricing models
  • Project management - Experience structuring and running projects
  • Agile approach - Experience working with agile/back log based development with a focus on value creation.
