Your role:

As a distribution electrician with us, you will be an important part of our work to ensure that the electricity from the power plants reaches our customers in a reliable way. You will work with new construction, repair and maintenance of the electricity networks that supply Umeå with electricity. Your tasks include ongoing troubleshooting, network connections, service changes, construction forces, meter replacements, operational inspections and other tasks within the network construction.

You will have ongoing contact with external electrical companies, installers and customers, and internally you collaborate with network support, network operations and the operations center. You will be part of a team where we are divided into three groups: Team investment / reinvestment, Team maintenance and Team connect.

On-call duty every eight weeks may be included in the service.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Training as a distribution electrician or equivalent work experience.
• B driving license.
• Computer skills.
• Good communication skills in speech and writing.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Advantages:

• Training and/or experience from Distribution Networks.
• A few years of work experience in electrical work.
• ESA training.
• General electrical license.
• Knowledge of EBR.
• C and CE driving license.
• Motor saw license.
• Scooter license.

Personal qualities:

We believe that you who apply for this position are calm, attentive and courteous in your approach. You have a strong desire and ability to help others. You are both independent and a good team player. You have experience in handling customer contacts and good communication skills.

You have good judgment and are quality-conscious, which allows you to make correct trade-offs and priorities. You have the ability to weigh up complex information and make informed decisions. You will also be able to adapt easily to changing circumstances and have a flexible approach to change.

It is also important for us that you have an interest in physical work, as you will sometimes have to get around in rougher terrain. In winter we use scooters and in summer we may need to use tracked vehicles or walk longer distances when patrolling the lines.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities, as well as the ways in which you can complement our existing team.
