Your mission:

We are now looking for three Key Account Managers to join our sales organization.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be part of Umeå Energi's sales team, which is responsible for all sales to all target groups.We work daily with activities to find new customers and business opportunities and to strengthen existing customer relationships, and are responsible for achieving set sales and activity goals. We follow the common sales process/sales strategy and continuously evaluate our performance against set targets, and collaborate both within and outside the sales team to succeed in deliveries to customers and to meet customer expectations.

In the role of Large Customer Manager, you work with customer responsibility for a number of our largest customers where continuous dialogues and recurring customer meetings are the basis of the relationship-based sales together with customer arrangements where we at Umeå Energi can create value for the customer.

You are responsible for understanding and familiarizing yourself with the customer's needs and taking the help of colleagues at Umeå Energi to take care of and meet questions, wishes and customer needs. In addition to building good relationships with our customers, you are responsible for new establishments in Umeå with a focus on ensuring the expansion of our infrastructural business, District Heating, District Cooling and Broadband.

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • At least five years of experience in complex sales (e.g. multiple decision makers, a longer sales cycle, customized solutions) in the energy industry or other service-based industry.
  • Experience selling to and/or working in the real estate industry.
  • Worked with complex contracts and have an understanding of contract law
  • Deep understanding of one of Umeå Energi's infrastructural businesses District Heating, District Cooling and Broadband.
  • Good computer skills in Office 365 and CRM systems.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, English in speech and writing.
  • B-driving license

Meritorious:

  • College/university education with a focus on sales, finance, marketing, energy and/or equivalent
  • Project manager in relevant field

As a Key Account Manager, you have a strong drive and take responsibility for deliveries in order for us as a team to reach our sales targets and meet customer expectations. You do your utmost to find solutions to complex needs in a businesslike and convincing way that is good for both Umeå Energi and the customer. You inspire confidence and have an ability to communicate with ease with the various decision-makers you meet - your teaching ability and social skills mean that you inspire confidence and establish new relationships in a natural way.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities, as well as on the way you can complement our sales organization.
