Your mission

If you want to be part of ensuring high-quality production, this is the job for you! You will have an important role within our production unit and your tasks will include both preventive and corrective maintenance work at our production units. The position involves tasks such as repairs of pumps, motors, conveyors and hydraulics, welding and machining, as well as disassembly and assembly of process technology equipment.

The role of Maintenance Technician is located within the Infrastructure business area, which includes the production, sale and distribution of district heating and district cooling within Umeå municipality. The position is located at Dåva and includes standby duty approximately every six weeks. You will work with both internal and external parties, such as suppliers, salespeople and installers etc.

Our business regularly adapts to meet legal requirements and changes in the industry. This means that our tools and ways of working sometimes change, and so do your tasks. These changes are the basis for a broad development of your skills.

To succeed in this role, you will have

• Technical training at upper secondary level or training deemed equivalent. Great emphasis is also placed on work experience, as well as social skills.
• B driving license

Meritorious for the position:

• Experience of similar tasks from industry
• Experience of hydraulics
• Experience in cutting machining
