Produktion Inre is looking for an Operations Technician to join its team! Is this you?
Your mission
As an operations technician, you start the day with a morning meeting where the work environment and safety are in focus. Together with the team, you plan and prioritize tasks to ensure stable and efficient operations.
Your main tasks include the operation and maintenance of production facilities and distribution networks for heating and cooling in Umeå. Through monitoring, control and optimization of processes, you work to ensure that the plants deliver according to set goals. The workday varies depending on the season and operating mode, from adjusting water chemistry to troubleshooting and improving process equipment in close collaboration with other teams.
Specialist competencies within the group enable a smooth distribution of responsibilities, and you have a central role in supervision, care, status control and maintenance. You report, document and follow up on the work on an ongoing basis, contributing to both business development and sustainable operations. You collaborate with the shift teams and other units to optimize production and distribution.
Examples of tasks:
- Operation and maintenance of main production facilities. - Operation and monitoring of Umeå Energi district heating and cooling networks. - Reporting and improving/correcting deficiencies in the work environment and environment - Working to minimize environmental impact - Continuously ensure that documentation of operations is carried out via various reporting systems - Report and improve/remedy deficiencies in the plant via fault reporting and operator maintenance - Performing rounds related to facilities. - Perform rounds linked to the continuous supervision according to AFS 2023:11. - Follow established procedures and methods. - Participate in daily management and forums and act as meeting leader. - Participate in improvement and development work. - Develop the business through cross-functional collaboration and project participation.
About you
You are collaborative and solution-oriented with a strong analytical ability and high commitment. You have a keen interest in power and heat, engineering, and process work and controls of pressurized devices. You enjoy working independently while collaborating across departments to contribute to improvement and development in your area of responsibility. With a focus on safety and quality, you take the initiative for improvement work and work continuously to strengthen the business.
Qualifications:
Experience from the CHP industry and knowledge of IFS systems or control systems such as 800xA, Siemens, Honeywell and Schneider is meritorious. Also experience from improvement work or project management.
