Your role:

As a wind turbine technician with us, you are responsible for carrying out supervision, maintenance and repair of wind turbines to ensure their optimal performance and operation. This includes identifying and reporting faults, performing routine checks, and carrying out necessary repairs and component replacements. It also includes daily debriefing and documentation of work to ensure safe and efficient operation of the wind turbines. The wind turbines at Umeå Energi are located in Umeå and the surrounding area.

Your main tasks as a Wind Power Technician:

  • Report and improve deficiencies in the work environment and the environment.
  • Responsible for supervision, care, status control and maintenance.
  • Daily reporting and ongoing follow-up.
  • Ensure operator maintenance and documentation.
  • Follow up and control the process towards set goals and prevent and counteract the occurrence of quality variations.
  • Optimize production and cost efficiency.
  • Manage error reporting and work orders.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as invoicing, posting and reports to our customers.
  • Have ongoing customer contact.
  • Lead smaller activities and projects.

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • Wind power technician training or other education deemed relevant.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Good computer skills.
  • B-driving license.

Advantages:

  • Worked with Vestas, Senvion or Enercon wind turbines.
  • Worked with IFS.
  • Previous work experience of operation and maintenance from the manufacturing or process industry.
  • Knowledge of German.
  • Knowledge of Danish.

Since safety is very important in this role, it is central that you thrive on working in a structured and organized way to maintain safety, by being aware of risks and following safety protocols. In the role, you work primarily in a close team, so we believe that you enjoy working with others and that you have good collaboration skills. As a person, you are responsible and enjoy taking the initiative to find concrete and practical solutions to work tasks.
