People under the age of 65 who have a disability and extensive needs for support and assistance can apply for personal assistance. A personal assistant helps someone with basic needs, such as eating, dressing, washing and communicating. The assistance is individually adapted and aims to increase the opportunities for people with disabilities to live an independent life.

The assignment
We are now looking for a responsive and confident person for a challenging assignment.
You are a support for a 16-year-old girl with autism and intellectual disabilities. The assignment is at home in the girl's home, with mom, dad and siblings, so there is life and movement around.
Work tasks
Your tasks will mainly be about supporting and leading the user through everyday life. By working with structure and clarifying pedagogy, you help the user to invent and implement various activities during the day. You help to create order for the user by maintaining good routines.
The work includes dealing with the user's challenging behavior in moments when strong emotions take over. You act as a stress regulator, staying composed and focused in tough situations. It is important that you work from a low-effective approach.
There will be plenty of room for calm and pleasant moments. The user has a big heart and a big dose of charm and likes things to happen around her. She enjoys everything from music and dance to clothes and being out in nature. You will therefore accompany the resident on activities and outings, and everything that happens around her.
About you
We are now looking for you who have a great commitment to children and young people and see this as an exciting and developing mission where you can make a big difference!
You may be creative and enjoy fun antics. The job requires you to be driven and resourceful with activities. The user will require full focus from you and that you are one step ahead. You are responsive and can read situations to keep up with the user's varying moods. You are a safe point for the user, possess good judgment and personal maturity. It is desirable that you have a degree in education or social work. You may have experience of working with children and young people, as well as people with behavioral problems, autism or intellectual disabilities.

You will work scheduled afternoons/evenings/weekends.
B driving license is desirable.
