Within the unit Investigation Disability Care, we meet people who need support and help due to disabilities. We receive applications, investigate and make decisions according to LSS and SoL. We follow up the decisions to ensure that the user's needs are met. We are now looking for an assistance officer LSS for our unit! Your work tasks As an assistance officer LSS, you meet people who, due to disabilities, need support and help to have a good everyday life. The work involves being responsible for receiving applications/notifications, investigating, assessing and making decisions in the area of disability in accordance with current legislation, the current legal situation and established goals. We can offer you an exciting job that means that you, together with your colleagues, contribute to the right effort at the right time for Umeå municipality's citizens, on behalf of the Individual and Family Committee. The service includes the exercise of authority within LSS, the area of disability, within all ages. About you We are looking for you with social worker training and experience of exercising authority. If you have experience of administration within LSS and knowledge of disabilities, we consider it an advantage. In the role of assistance officer LSS, you will meet people in difficult life situations and it is therefore important that you as a person are safe and stable, have good cooperation skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing. Furthermore, we want you to have an innovative mindset that can be put into practice and lead to results. Great importance will also be attached to personal suitability. The position requires a B driving license. We would like you to submit a cover letter, CV and LADOK code for your social work degree.
