Dragonens vård och omsorgsboende is located on Dragonfältet near the center of Umeå. The home, built in 2008, has an outdoor environment with two large patios, generous balconies on each floor and ample opportunity for outdoor recreation. The building has three floors with 96 rooms. We are now looking for an assistant nurse with supervisor assignment to our team! Your tasks You will assist our residents with personal care, give medicine to those who need it, support at meals and social events. You will document actions and health conditions. Care needs vary and we work in a person-centered way to help individuals based on their different conditions. In the role of supervising assistant nurse, you have an important task of ensuring the quality of the care we provide, as well as training and supervising care staff in their daily nursing work. Working hours are initially during the day, Monday to Friday. Later on, it may be changed based on the needs of the business to include evenings and weekends. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and have solid experience of nursing work and in elderly care. You have experience of having a supervisory function or other leadership experience. Knowledge of dementia and experience of working with people with dementia is an advantage. We attach great importance to personal suitability, pedagogical and empathic skills. You show a great commitment to both users and activities in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professions. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
