Your tasks As a supervising nurse, you will have a central and responsible role in the organization. One of the main responsibilities is to manage the induction of new staff, ensuring that new employees have a safe and structured start to their work. Furthermore, the role involves quality assurance of the nursing work by ensuring compliance with routines and guidelines. In your role as supervising assistant nurse, you must be able to lead and distribute the daily work in an efficient and professional manner. An important part of the role is to supervise existing staff by providing continuous feedback and support in the daily work, with the aim of promoting both individual and group development. The role also includes supporting with administrative tasks such as implementation plans, alarm systems and similar tasks. Working hours are mainly during the day, but some evening shifts may occur by agreement. The position also includes working every fourth weekend according to schedule. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and have solid experience of nursing work and in elderly care. We would like to see that you have experience of having a supervisory function or other leadership experience. Knowledge of dementia and experience of working with people with dementia is an advantage. We attach great importance to personal suitability, educational and empathic ability. You show a great commitment to both residents and activities in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
