The Assistive Technology Service is part of the Health Care for the Elderly in Umeå municipality. The main task of the main task is to be responsible for the internal supply of assistive devices to nursing and care homes and ordinary housing. Used equipment is collected and taken to storage. There they are disposed of or reconditioned, entered into IT systems and stored until they are ordered again. We then deliver them to the business that needs them. The medication service also transports medicines from pharmacies to care homes in the municipality. We are now looking for an employee who wants to work as an assistive technology technician. Your tasks The work involves transporting and servicing various assistive devices such as mobile hygiene chairs, rollators and assistive beds. You will also work with the storage of assistive devices and spare parts. The work involves periodic inspection and maintenance of ceiling lifts, as well as administration in various IT systems. The work team consists of four technicians and they perform all tasks that occur at the workplace work tasks based on a rolling weekly schedule. The work group also consists of an Assistive Technology Coordinator, an Assistive Technology Coordinator and a Service Resource. About you We are looking for you who have technical training or work experience that is considered equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience of assistive devices or service/recond of other equipment. Or work experience that is considered equivalent and experience as a service technician such as warehouse management, service professions. To function in this role, it is important that you are independent while having good ability to cooperate in a team. You should be quality-oriented, responsible and careful. We also look for you to be a positive and service-oriented problem solver. You should have good computer skills, preferably with experience of Excel. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. B-driving license is a requirement. Welcome with your application.
