Your tasks Café Operations is responsible for the school cafeterias at Dragonskolan, Maja Beskowgymnasiet/skolan and Midgårdsskolan. You will initially work at the Dragon School, but depending on the needs of the business, the location may change. The school cafeterias are part of the school's café and service operations, which are responsible for the café, as well as staffing the schools' reception. We are part of the school's service and this means that we help with the school's various tasks and help where needed. In your role as a café assistant you will: work on the preparation of sandwiches and salads, for example. prepare internal orders for school coffee trolleys refill sandwiches, drinks, dairy products and confectionery, and take care of coffee machines cleaning the café area, kitchen and staff areas receiving goods from various suppliers such as bakeries and wholesalers receiving visitors and helping students and staff when the school reception is closed The school cafeterias are also tasked with being an arena for testing people who are far from the labor market or need to test their work ability. This means you will be responsible for supervision and documentation. The work as a café assistant involves heavy lifting of goods from trolleys to the fridge/freezer, as well as lifting of beverage plates. Working hours are scheduled Monday-Friday during the day and you must be able to start work at 06.30. About you We are looking for you who have at least upper secondary education. You have experience of service work and experience of cashier service. We would like you to have worked in a café or kitchen before. Training in food hygiene and knowledge of special diets is an advantage. As a person, you are structured with good collaboration skills as the work requires close cooperation with colleagues, students and staff. We would like to see that you have an interest in food and that you are passionate about good service. A B-driving license is an advantage in this position, but not a requirement.
