We have a common strategy for education in our municipality: to create a coherent education chain that contributes to greater equality, improved learning outcomes and attractive education. We want all children, young people and adults to have the opportunity to reach their full potential and develop their knowledge and skills. We know that this is based on committed, knowledgeable and professional staff who provide high-quality teaching. We make a difference every day and are proud of our mission. Our work contributes to the confidence of children and young people. We work together to ensure that children and pupils develop and grow up safely. We teach children to read, write and count. We help develop children's imagination and belief in their own abilities. We support children and pupils to live an independent life. We have Sweden's most important job - our mission is to give young people confidence in the future. Pedagogical care is offered instead of preschool or after-school care and is aimed at children of the same age as children and pupils in preschool and after-school care. Family day care is a form of pedagogical care. Childminders work in their own home (family day care center). The home must be appropriately adapted (safe, secure and healthy) for the children staying there, including the outdoor environment. Children should be served varied and nutritious meals. The environment and materials should promote good educational practice. The number of children in a childminder's group is estimated at 5-6. Children should be given the opportunity to meet other children and childminders on a regular basis to promote and develop all-round contact and social interaction between children and between children and adults. Your tasks As a childminder, you are responsible for creating an environment, routines and structure that make children feel safe and that stimulate and challenge their learning. You will take into account children's different abilities and needs. It is important that you are able to plan and carry out activities with children individually and in groups, for example, outdoor and indoor gatherings and activities. You will work with parents and guardians in a trusting manner. In collaboration with other childminders in the area, you are responsible for planning, documenting, evaluating and quality assuring the activities on an ongoing basis. You will work together to keep working hours at a reasonable level based on current agreements. About you We are looking for you who are a trained childcare worker and who have experience of working in preschool, educational care, or working with children. The home where the business will be conducted is in the area of Hissjö, Håkmark or Tavelsjö. It can be a villa, farm or apartment with access to a safe outdoor environment. Before employment can be considered, the home must be approved for family day care activities. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. As bus connections do not always match the working hours, a B driving license and access to your own car are required. You must offer a smoke- and tobacco-free home and have a good command of Swedish in speech and writing. As a result of the law on suitability checks, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented upon employment. A check of the criminal record also covers persons aged 15 or over who are registered at the address. We welcome your application! You can either attach your CV and cover letter or fill in your details directly in the application form.
