Cleaning and Operations Services includes the municipality's cleaning services, technical support and operations caretakers. By working professionally, we take care of the municipality's premises and contribute to sustainability. Cleaning is important for everyone who uses the premises as it affects both well-being and health, and with the customer in focus, we carry out small and large operations. The cleaning service units are divided into geographical areas called districts. The unit managers are responsible for the employees working in the districts. The cleaning service cleans the municipality's premises such as schools, preschools, retirement homes, town halls and sports halls. We mainly carry out daily cleaning, but also floor care, window cleaning and major cleaning. We are now looking for a cleaner with coordination responsibility located at Östra Ersboda, but may also need to be in different places in the district such as Marieberg, and out in villages around Umeå. Your work tasks The main tasks consist of cleaning where you carry out regular cleaning of premises such as daily cleaning, major cleaning, floor care and window cleaning. You will also clean with the help of machine driving, order materials and have regular contact with our customers. You are responsible for the quality of your own work. The service as a group coordinator constitutes about 5-10% of the service on an annual basis, where it can vary between different weeks. This part of the service involves being responsible for planning in the event of temporary absence as well as supervision and maintenance of equipment of machines and other materials. You will also participate in service meetings with stakeholders, safety rounds and quality checks. You will work closely with your Head of Unit on staffing planning, operational issues and health and safety issues. About you We are looking for you who have experience in professional cleaning and machine driving. You also have experience of similar tasks in cleaning and as a group coordinator, and are SRY-certified or have an equivalent education / experience. You will also have completed a 'Leading without being a manager' training course or have otherwise acquired equivalent leadership skills. You have a good sense of service and enjoy working with others but also work well independently. You also have good interpersonal skills and are service-oriented. You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing (at least SFI D level). You must be able to read and understand instructions and communicate via telephone calls, text messages, e-mail, chat functions and other communication channels.
