The Employment and Integration Department is responsible for the integration of new arrivals and labor market issues in Umeå municipality. We help with guidance, create opportunities and contribute to new pathways for people who need support to enter and continue in society and working life and contribute to skills supply from both a local and regional perspective. As part of the Employment and Integration Department (AMI), the Matching Office is the department's hub for employer contacts and where people are updated to be matched with initiatives such as: clarifying work conditions, internships, employment or other individual needs. The Matching Office's stakeholders are the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, Region Västerbotten, the Prison and Probation Service, social services or one of the department's other units.
