The Employment and Integration Department of Umeå Municipality is responsible for labor market issues and integration. The department facilitates change, development and increased health through the right intervention, in the right way at the right time. Work tasks The Labor Market and Integration Department is part of the collaboration platform Arbetsmarknadstorget, where several public parties (eg. Försäkringskassan, Arbetsförmedlingen, Region Västerbotten, Social Services, Prison and Probation Service, etc.) collaborate to provide support to people who are in vocational rehabilitation. Your tasks will include, among other things working to strengthen the skills and employability of participants with the goal of work or study providing support through guidance/coaching and practical support in the workplace creating meetings between participants and employers and providing support to supervisors/employers during work placements/work trials work in close collaboration based on a common methodology with other authorities interact with civil society, employers and participants' networks work in a structured work method inspired by Supported Employment. documentation work on the basis of established procedures and guidelines and help to develop these to contribute to continuous improvement About you We are looking for you who have a university education with a social science, behavioral science, rehabilitation or educational focus. You have good knowledge and experience of the labor market and the conditions set in working life. You have knowledge of the ways and means of establishing yourself in the labor market and experience of working with people in need of support. You have experience in the field of mental health, rehabilitation and disabilities. We would like to see that you have worked in collaboration with other authorities / organizations and that you are trained in Supported training / employment. You may also have training in motivational interviewing (MI) and/or coach training. Working together in a four-party collaboration based on your own assignment with a common goal for the participant requires the ability to understand your own role, your own assignment and at the same time work for the whole for the participant and other parties in the collaboration. This requires sensitivity, the ability to understand the role/assignment/regulations of other parties and to be able to work towards jointly set goals.
