The Employment and Integration Department is responsible for the integration of new arrivals and labor market issues in Umeå municipality. We help with guidance, create opportunities and contribute to new pathways for people who need support to enter and continue in society and working life and contribute to skills supply from both a local and regional perspective. Your tasks As part of the Employment and Integration Department (AMI), the Matching Office is the department's hub for employer contacts and where people are updated to be matched with initiatives such as: clarifying work conditions, internships, employment or other individual needs. The Matching Office's stakeholders are the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, Region Västerbotten, the Prison and Probation Service, social services or one of the department's other units. Form of employment Permanent 100%, access 2025-08-18 or by agreement. About you You have an academic degree in the social sciences and/or behavioral sciences combined with training and experience in sales. We are looking for you who have good knowledge and experience of the local labor market and what conditions are set in working life. You have knowledge of the pathways and ways to enter the labor market and experience working with people in need of support. You have experience in the field of mental health, work rehabilitation and disability. Experience of collaboration with civil society and a broad network is an advantage. You take great personal responsibility and have good self-leadership. You have good self-awareness and are confident in yourself. You have the ability to build trust, be empathetic and see opportunities. You have the ability to look at the bigger picture and see development needs from a societal perspective. The work is complex with many contact surfaces where you need to be creative, flexible and solution-focused and have a large contact network and your value base is based on Empowerment. You should enjoy working in teams, believe in the ability of individuals and want to contribute to the supply of skills! Experience from the staffing industry and work rehabilitation is an advantage.
