Welcome with your application! Duties and responsibilities As an environmental inspector, you will work with the planning and execution of supervision and processing under the Environmental Code. The work involves both processing incoming cases and initiating your own cases for priority objects. We are looking for you who; are a trained environmental inspector or have a scientific university education in the environmental field, or education / professional experience that is considered equivalent. have work experience in supervision and testing under the Environmental Code and have experience of assessing risks to human health and the environment. It is an advantage if you have experience of supervising hygienic activities (tattooists, skin care, nail salons, etc.), school supervision and complaint handling. As the position involves many contacts and collaboration with various stakeholders, great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. You are confident in your role as an authority and have the ability to think strategically in order to see the context, environmental benefits and the big picture. As a person, you are driven, structured, enterprising and have a good ability to perform your duties carefully, legally and efficiently. To succeed in the role, you need to have good communication skills in both speech and writing and be able to build good relationships.
