The support and care administration is divided into three major areas of activity: authority exercise, disability care and individual and family care. Within support and care, there is a management staff that brings together competencies that work across the administration with various assignments such as communication, premises, digitization and investigation. Efficient and appropriate premises and housing are of great importance for the social services' ability to fulfill their social missions. In Umeå municipality, it is the task of the property management to provide efficient and appropriate premises. Within support and care, there are two functions that form the administration's link to the property management, a strategist and a premises planner. We are now looking for a deputy premises planner for the management staff, is it you we are looking for? Your tasks The premises planner's mission is to be the engine in the activities' more operational premises issues and be the link to the property management. The aim is for our processes and procedures linked to premises issues to be manageable and known by our heads of unit. Follows up on the activities' fault reports so that they end up in the right place and are handled promptly. Receives, evaluates, prioritizes, orders and follows up adaptations in existing premises. Represents the administration in the final stages of projects concerning buildings and premises, such as renovations and new constructions. Acts as a coordinator in rows within the existing stock. Responsible for the reinvestment plan and ordering of loose furniture As a premises planner, you will work closely with our operations, premises strategist and property managers. Your role requires you to have a good understanding of the specificities and needs of the businesses, and to be solution-focused with high delivery. About you We are looking for you who have a university education. To succeed in the role of premises planner, leadership skills are required, so it is therefore a requirement that you have some form of leadership experience that you describe in your application. We also want you to have a good knowledge of the conditions required to provide social services and thus knowledge of the social services' areas of activity. If you also have experience of working with real estate / premises issues in some way, this is positive. We are looking for you who have documented good collaborative skills, are structured and systematic in your approach. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
