Individual and family care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. Family treatment provides support and interventions in various forms to children and young people aged 0-18 and their families, some interventions can be provided up to the age of 21. The operation works to implement various types of decisions granted assistance in the form of family treatment, parental support and other interventions aimed at children and young people, individually and in groups. The work in the organization is conducted with the support of selected methods such as Cognitive Integrated Treatment at Risk of Child Abuse (KIBB), Parenting young children (PYC), Intensive home-based family treatment (IHF), Functional family therapy (FFT), Safer children and Crime as a lifestyle, among others. As a Family Therapist with us, you are part of a group of about 40 Family Therapists. You have a special affiliation in a special team where you work with similar assignments and cases. You are expected to be able to work across team boundaries. You should have a particular interest in one of the following family work areas - children and adolescents exposed to violence - children in families with care deficits - parents of children in care - children/young people with non-normative behavior We are now looking for people to join our team! Your tasks You will mainly work on the basis of one of the above-mentioned methods aimed at children and/or parents, working alone and/or together with colleagues with parents and/or families in treatment. About you We are looking for you who have a social worker education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience of working in social services/outpatient care and/or exercise of authority. We believe that you have experience in treatment. If you have not worked as a therapist, you need to have worked with individuals in processes/change work in some other way. As a family practitioner you need to be empathetic, responsive and relationship building to build trust with children, young people and their families. You are flexible and adaptable, as the work requires you to deal with different methods and situations. A structured and independent working style is important, as well as a communicative and pedagogical ability to guide and support. You are also patient and solution-focused, with a strong commitment to the well-being of children and young people. A B driving license is a requirement for the position. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. An extract from the police's criminal record will be required upon employment. We welcome your application!
