We are now looking for another family counselor with commitment and competence who can contribute to the work and development of the Family Counseling Service in Umeå. The Family Counseling Service is an independent, statutory activity without the exercise of authority where visitors come on their own initiative. We also work on behalf of local municipalities. Work tasks As a family counselor, you work with therapeutic conversations in different constellations - couples, individuals and families. Our conversations focus on relationships and deal with, for example, crisis processing, conflict management and cohabitation problems. The sessions can also be advisory. The conversations take place via physical visits, but we also offer video calls. The work is independent and you have your own treatment responsibility. We also work preventively and outwardly with information and consultation. The work group currently consists of six employees and it is therefore important that we who will work together work together in a responsible, committed, open and creative interaction. Meritorious are: Licensed psychotherapist, authorized family counselor Experience of work as a family counselor or otherwise equivalent change work with adults At our clinic, everyone in the staff group is required to take great responsibility and contribute to the composition of the group, collegial learning and development of the business. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. In addition, it is important that you have a professional approach and have achieved personal maturity, as well as the ability to build trust and good relationships. You are responsive and have good interpersonal skills. You have the interest and ability to independently seek and absorb new relevant knowledge in the field. It is a matter of course for you to take a child's perspective in your work and you are positive about collaboration with other actors for the benefit of children.
