The Individual and Family Board, Support and Care, consists of three areas of activity: Authority exercise, enforcement IFO and enforcement Disability. The area of activity has a total of around 270 employees and is responsible for investigating and following up interventions for children, young people and adults in accordance with current legislation. Investigation SoL adults currently consists of 2 units, one unit that is more focused on addiction, crime and domestic violence and the other unit is focused on needs based on disability. It is for the latter that we are now looking for a unit manager with responsibility for operations, finance and staff (about 18 employees). We are looking for you who are development-oriented and want to lead the business based on a holistic approach to the citizen and their needs with high participation among the employees. Are you the person we are looking for? Your tasks As a unit manager in the area of exercise of authority, quality work is underway that aims to coordinate efforts and meet the individual and their needs with different competencies. This means that if you are interested in the assignment, you will be part of an important change process. Part of the development of coordination also means that we will change and work closely together in the exercise of authority to create the conditions for new ways of working. This means that this particular assignment will be formulated in the direction of the new coordinated exercise of authority. Your contribution will be to lead your employees towards the goal and create the conditions for cooperation with those who promote quality for the individual. As head of the unit for investigating SOL adults (disability), you will work closely with other units and managers to develop your activities. Within the framework of the development work, a directional decision has been taken which means that the two units that investigate adults in need of SOL interventions will approach each other and coordinate around the individuals. This will promote coordination, a holistic approach to the individual, ensure legal certainty and the right intervention at the right time. You will be part of the Deputy Head of Operations' management team. Your qualifications We are looking for you who have: a degree in social work or another higher education qualification deemed equivalent by the employer good knowledge of current legislation under the Social Services Act, regulations and guidelines that govern the work in the field. good knowledge of the Swedish language and good ability to communicate in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have experience of having worked as a manager in social services that exercise authority, preferably in the field of disability. You also have experience of change management and collaboration with partners linked to the assignment. You who apply : See it as a matter of course to work closely with your colleagues in the field. You also have a good ability to enthuse and lead your colleagues in business development. It is important that you are clear and have a good ability to communicate messages and expectations. As the business is collaboration-oriented, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and have the ability to build relationships with both employees and management colleagues.
