The Upper Secondary and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, Swedish education for immigrants. The board is also responsible for vocational rehabilitation, and for municipal refugee reception. The Employment and Integration Department is responsible for labor market and integration issues and is part of the collaboration platforms Vuxentorget and Ungdomstorget. We are now looking for a unit manager who wants to lead and develop the business together with the employees. Are you the person we are looking for? Your tasks As Head of Unit, you will be responsible for operations, finances and staff, and you will lead a team of around 20-30 staff. You will be responsible for the management, planning, coordination and development of the unit's activities. The assignment includes leading in complex collaboration with other parties within the collaboration platforms (Försäkringskassan, Arbetsförmedling, Region Västerbotten and Kriminalvården). You participate in a steering group together with managers from the other parties and make decisions for the work at Arbetsmarknadstorgen. The work may also include responding to referrals and other administration for the principal. You have good knowledge of our partners and you have previous experience as a manager in multi-party collaboration, you have also led processes and have experience of strategic management work in multi-party collaboration. We also expect you to have experience in public administration, change management and knowledge and experience of local analysis of labor market statistics. To succeed in this role, you have good knowledge of the labor market; what conditions are set in working life, what paths and ways there are to establish yourself. We also believe that you have experience of working with people in need of support and experience in the areas of mental health, rehabilitation and disabilities. It is meritorious if you: are trained in one of Supported's methods, Empowerment and/or Service Design have experience working with quality management have experience of working with civil society Leading in multi-party collaboration based on your own mission with a common goal requires the ability to understand your own role, your own mission and at the same time work for the whole and the other parties in the collaboration. This requires sensitivity, the ability to understand the role/mission/regulations of other parties and to be able to work towards jointly set goals. You take great personal responsibility and have good self-leadership. You have good self-awareness and are confident in yourself. You have the ability to build trust, be empathetic and see opportunities. The ability to look at the bigger picture and see development needs from a societal perspective. The work is complex with many interfaces where you need to be creative, flexible and solution-focused. You have very good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.
