We are the unit that handles all care services where our users live in their own homes in Umeå municipality. Most of our staff are assistant nurses who we continuously train. The home care service is also responsible for responding to and handling social alarms that occur at night. Your work tasks As a home care nurse, you are responsible for planning and carrying out care work in people's own homes. The aim is to enable the elderly or disabled person to remain in their home for as long as they wish. You will work on the basis of the contact person role, where the focus is on customer participation. This ensures that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. About you We are looking for you who have experience of elderly care, preferably from home care. We see it as an advantage if you have training in care. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You enjoy working independently and have good computer skills. As a person, you have high integrity, are sensitive and empathetic. You have a good ability to cooperate with colleagues and other professions. You show a great commitment to both users and activities in all relationships and actions. Working hours are day/evening and weekend. The service requires a B driving license. As there may be animals and smoking in the workplace, you should not be allergic. To be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
