The leisure administration in Umeå municipality wants to contribute to a good living environment by creating good opportunities for active leisure with sports, exercise, recreation and public health. Its area of responsibility includes the operation of sports and leisure facilities, leisure, excursion and recreation areas, facilities for leisure boats and initiatives in leisure fishing and outdoor recreation. Through the municipality's joint Associations Office, the Leisure Administration is responsible for the overall preparation, follow-up and evaluation of the municipality's support for associations and for strengthening contacts between the municipality's various representatives and organized associations. Leisure is divided into four different departments: Leisure Operations, Leisure Youth, Associations Office and Leisure Swimming. We also have a staff that provides support in the form of finance, personnel issues, IT, communication and development. The current position is a temporary position as a leisure consultant at Fritid - Fiske, which belongs to Fritid drift. Your work tasks Project management and coordination of externally funded projects. Prepare applications for funding and permits as well as performance reports and carry out procurements and consultations with landowners and others affected by our projects. Planning and documenting fieldwork in GIS. Work with administration and supervision of liming in lakes, wetlands and watercourses. Respond to referrals regarding fisheries legislation, hydropower or other exploitation that affects the opportunities for recreational fishing. Work with information and communication about recreational fishing and its regulations in freshwater and sea. Advice, association and board work and work with the association grant for fishing associations. About you You have an education with a focus on biology/nature conservation/fish conservation, preferably at college/university level in the field. You have good knowledge of the conditions for recreational fishing and how fishing is licensed and organized in Umeå municipality. You have knowledge of fisheries legislation, the Environmental Code Chapter 11 and GIS. Experience of project management, permit and funding applications and public procurement. Knowledge of liming of lakes, wetlands and watercourses. You can work independently and have a good ability to take responsibility for your own working hours and tasks. We would like to see that you have experience of working with similar tasks at a municipality or other authority. Experience of working with fisheries supervision and association work. Field work, work management and/or technical coordination in the restoration of hydromorphologically affected watercourses and restoration of wetlands. The position requires a B driving license.
