Stöd och omsorg is responsible for social services in Umeå municipality. The area is divided into three major areas of activity: the exercise of authority, disability care and individual and family care. In order to provide support and create the conditions for our operations to provide a good social service, we have three perspective areas: quality, HR and finance. Within the framework of the quality perspective, there is a unit for systematic quality work. The unit's task is to participate in and create the conditions for systematic quality work, in accordance with the council's management system for systematic quality work. This includes, for example, working with the requirements and objectives that apply to the activities, identifying and developing processes and procedures, working with deviations, operational follow-ups and statistics, analyzing quality and continuous improvements. The unit may also have coordination responsibility for audits, inspections and qualitative measurements. The unit consists of employees with various tasks within the systematic quality work. In addition to the medically responsible nurse (MAS), there is also a socially responsible coordinator (SAS), process manager, child rights strategist and coordinators in the unit. We are now looking for a MAS with an interest in quality and patient safety issues! Work tasks As a medically responsible nurse, you have, together with the head of health care and medically responsible for rehabilitation (MAR), an overall responsibility for quality and patient safety in municipal health care, aimed at the activities that have a caregiver responsibility according to HSL. Within the Support and Care Administration, it applies to special housing according to LSS and daily activities, within the disability care business area. Together with the medical management, managers in disability care and in collaboration with nurses in operations, you will be responsible for the systematic and continuous development of quality and patient safety. You will provide advice, information and training in the field of health care legislation and therefore keep yourself updated and informed. You are responsible for or contribute to the development of procedures or other guiding/supporting documents. You support and guide activities in change and improvement work to ensure good quality and patient safety with a focus on the needs of the individual. You have a key role in internal and external collaboration. Furthermore, you will also work with deviations, risk and event analysis, notification according to Lex Maria, safe medication management and delegation, and documentation. You will be responsible for ensuring that a Patient Safety Report is drawn up annually. You will provide input and present cases to management and, where appropriate, to the political leadership. Part of the service will include other development and quality work. About you We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with solid experience in the role, and who have relevant further education. You are familiar with current legislation, and have experience of some form of development and quality work. We would like to see that you have experience from municipal health care activities, preferably disability care. We also see it as positive if you have an established HSL network within the municipality or region, as well as experience from some form of leadership. Of course, you are interested in, familiar with and driven by development issues and evidence-based care, and have an interest in the development of the municipality's patient safety work for this target group. In the assignment, you need to be sensitive to the different needs that exist in the organization and have a solution-focused approach. You see collaboration and cooperation as a natural part of the work. Furthermore, the assignment requires good oral and written communication skills, and that you adapt your communication to the recipient and the situation. We also want you to have a good ability to plan your work and to work systematically, independently and in a structured manner. In your application, we would particularly like you to describe your experience of development and quality work, as well as experience of work where you have applied your knowledge of healthcare legislation.
