Teg's elderly center is beautifully located by the river at Teg. The accommodation consists of 10 units with between 7-12 apartments in each. Here we provide care and care for the elderly, people with multiple illnesses and especially people with dementia. Your tasks You will assist residents with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning and activities. Your role will also include performing medical tasks as delegated by the nurse in charge. The tasks also include documenting actions and health status. You work on the basis of the assignment as a contact person where the resident's participation is in focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. About you We would like to see that you are a trained assistant nurse, care assistant or equivalent education, but it is not a requirement. We would like you to have previous experience in elderly care and that you have knowledge of dementia and experience of working with people with dementia. Your interaction with residents requires good skills based on personal suitability, maturity and empathy. You demonstrate a high level of commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. As dogs and cats may be present in the workplace, it is good if you do not have a fur allergy.
