Väst-Tegs vård- och omsorgsboende is a newly built accommodation located at Väst-Teg. The accommodation opened in the fall of 2024 and consists of 6 floors. In total there are 120 apartments divided into 12 units and each unit consists of 10 apartments. Each unit has its own spacious balcony. On the ground floor there is a café and a glazed patio. There is also a production kitchen on the Väst-Teg premises. The production kitchen prepares meals that are distributed to homes and schools around Umeå municipality. Väst-Teg is a municipal care and nursing home. We are now looking for a colleague to join our team! Your work tasks You will assist the resident with personal care and, on delegation from the nurse in charge, perform medical tasks. The tasks also include documenting measures and health status. You are responsible for ensuring that the goals and actions from the implementation plan are known and carried out. About you We would like to see that you have experience from the care sector, preferably from elderly care. We consider it an advantage if you have experience of working with various dementia diseases, are trained in health and social care and/or have previously delegated medication. If you have completed Resima training, it is positive. Your encounter with residents requires good skills based on personal suitability, maturity and empathic ability. You demonstrate a high level of commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
