The Upper Secondary School and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults and Swedish language teaching for immigrants. The board is also responsible for vocational rehabilitation and for municipal refugee reception. We have a wide range of programs, courses and options that allow students to shape their own education. We offer good and up-to-date teaching and a pleasant environment in modern premises. In the care and nursing program, students are trained for a job that involves the opportunity to help people and see other individuals grow and succeed. At Dragonskolan, you contribute to training assistant nurses for work in the municipality and county council. Your tasks Prepare, implement and follow up teaching in anatomy and physiology, functional ability and disability, gerontology and geriatrics, health care, nursing, psychiatry 1 and 2. You should be familiar with the current national policy documents and have good knowledge and experience of assessment and grades. As the students are on their workplace learning (APL), you will visit the student's workplace and follow up the student's learning and development. The assignment also includes being a mentor for a group of students. About you We are looking for you with pedagogical experience and a background in health and care professions, mainly psychiatry. If you are also a licensed care teacher with a teaching license for teaching the courses that belong to the program, it is an advantage. You have experience of teaching in upper secondary school and thus good knowledge of subject plans, grades and assessment. To succeed in the assignment, you are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to individualize and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, context and good relationships. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. If you have a teaching license, attach it. Other information The position is a temporary position, full time, from 2025-08-11 to 2026-06-11.
