Your work tasks As an occupational therapist in Disability Care, you will belong to the HSL team that works towards disability care. The team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists and nurses who work as a team to achieve the highest quality for our citizens. You are responsible for standard occupational therapy tasks/assessments to improve or maintain the individual's ability to perform meaningful activities in their everyday lives. This assignment includes work with special housing and daily activities in disability care. You ensure that the rehabilitative and habilitative efforts work well for our users and coordinate contacts with other professional groups within the municipality, primary care and the Region. The work involves supervising small and large groups of staff. About you We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience from work in LSS and disability care is desirable. If you have experience in assessment and testing of assistive devices, it is an advantage. We would like you to have experience of documenting in Treserva or other data journal. You have good initiative and are good at thinking innovatively. You have the ability to work independently while recognizing the importance of collaboration with different professions where the person themselves also have an active role. Of course, you have a good, respectful attitude and are responsive and open in your contacts with both the persons being cared for and their relatives. You see great importance in contributing to good communication and collaboration with other actors. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Heavy lifting is involved.
