Are you the one? Payroll and Pensions is part of the municipality's HR unit and is centrally located at the City Management Office.
We support Umeå and Vindeln municipalities in payroll and personnel administration, both consultatively and operationally, and are responsible for processing salaries, fees and pensions for employees and elected representatives. Our focus is on making it easy to do the right thing, with the aim of ensuring that all employees receive the right salary at the right time.
We are on a journey where, through digitization, simplification and clarity, we will deliver simple and professional support to employees and managers.
We are now looking for an important payroll administrator who wants to help us on that journey!
The work of a payroll administrator includes:
Processing payroll administration tasks
You will sort and file documents and carry out various types of registration, such as hiring and scheduling, as well as perform checks and correct incorrect payroll data. You will provide feedback to our customers to reduce the risk of incorrectly paid salaries.
Provide operational support to managers and staff by:
Providing ongoing support and assistance to employees and managers, via telephone and incoming cases. You work to create good relationships and have a professional and educational approach in your contacts.
Actively contributing to the development of our business
You actively participate in development work and make suggestions on how we can work proactively to make it easy for staff and managers to do the right thing.
Contribute to an open and creative climate where everyone has a place
You encourage dissent and work well with others. You dare to try new ideas and contribute to simple and effective solutions.
About you
We are looking for you with an upper secondary education in economics or equivalent. It is an advantage if you have completed a post-secondary education in a relevant field. We are looking for you who have administrative experience, and experience of customer support. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with administration in the payroll system Personec P and have experience of municipal operations / municipal agreement area.
We are looking for you who are a positive problem solver who enjoys change work. You are a communicative and service-minded person with an eye for detail and structure, who likes to work both independently and with others in teams.
