In the Unit for Prevention and Investigation of the Elderly, we meet people aged 65 and older who, due to aging and its consequences, need support and help. We receive applications, investigate and make decisions under the Social Services Act (SoL). We follow up on the decisions to ensure that the user's needs are met. We also work preventively to promote safe, independent and active lives for seniors through health promotion activities, guidance and information. We also offer support to family members through early and directly targeted forms of support. We are now looking for a deputy placement consultant. Would you like to join us? Your tasks As a placement consultant, you handle assignments regarding special housing that they implement within the elderly care and care homes in Umeå municipality. The role includes: - taking enforcement decisions on special housing - sending assignments to the accommodation in question - ordering rental contracts - offering cleaning services - ordering inspections of apartments in special housing that have become vacant About you We are looking for you who are a social worker or other equivalent education. You have experience of working in elderly care. Experience of administration and exercise of authority is an advantage To succeed in the role, we believe that you enjoy a lot of contact with people and that you are service-oriented. It is also important that you are flexible, responsive and have a good attitude. The work can vary in pace and workload, which requires you to be able to prioritize and work independently.
