Preschool Granbacken is a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool in Sävar that opened in 2015. The preschool has five homes with age-related groups; Viljan, Tilliten, Lyckan, Fröjden and Glädjen. At the preschool we have a common gathering place - Torget, which is the heart of the building. The idea behind the square is that it should be a meeting place for democracy and interaction. Children, parents and educators meet here during parts of the day. Children can be dropped off and picked up in the square. There is also space to choose from activity boxes, play role-playing games, play instruments, dance and build with different kinds of materials. Children and teachers from all over the building meet in the square. Every morning, the whole of Granbacken sings together for a while in the square. We also have a studio. The studio is the hands of the house and here the purpose is to start the creative process. The environment is an important part of Granbacken, which should have inviting meeting places that encourage play and take advantage of different interests and skills. We place great emphasis on creating environments together with the children and involving them. We observe and reflect on what the children do in the environment we have designed and then, for example, add, remove or change things so that play takes on new forms. The proximity to the forest means that it is also part of our environment that the children explore and create an approach to. We are now looking for a preschool teacher to join our team, are you the one we are looking for? Your tasks In your role as a preschool teacher, you will run and develop activities at the preschool in in accordance with the objectives of the curriculum and the unit's governing documents. You will adapt the activities to the individual child and to the group of children, the context and the situation. You stimulate and challenge each child's development and learning by offering an exploratory and educational environment where learning takes place in everyday, playful and instructive contexts. The tasks also include following up and communicating each child's learning and development with the child and with the families, and designing the activities based on fundamental democratic values. About you We are looking for you who are a trained preschool teacher and have a teaching license / applied for a teaching license. We would like you to have previous experience of working in a preschool. We would also like you to have: Good theoretical knowledge of child development, learning and care needs and how to lead a group of children in educational activities. Good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents and the ability to put the content into practice. Good ability and experience in leading and organizing work to create a meaningful, fun and safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation. Theoretical knowledge and practical experience of how to use pedagogical documentation (observation, reflection and documentation) as part of the systematic quality work. Good ability to communicate the goals and working methods of the organization as well as children's development and learning with the guardians both in speech and in writing Good ability to cooperate Welcome with your application!
