A preschool with four departments, where all departments have mixed-age groups 1-5 years. Proximity to the forest and lake is within walking distance and is used frequently. The preschool is located in the middle of Umedalen's sculpture park, which inspires many creative visits. We work on the basis that children learn through play and social interaction. We educators are "co-researchers", which means that we take advantage of the children's interests, thoughts and ideas and use them as a basis for our thematic work. We think it is important to talk, reflect, argue and problematize together when working with children. We see both the indoor and outdoor environment as important for development and learning, and create new meeting places based on interest and needs to give children the opportunity to play and interact. You can read more about our activities here As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that teaching at the preschool is carried out so that the children are stimulated and challenged in their development and learning towards the aspirational goals throughout the day. You will be responsible for building good relationships with children, guardians and colleagues. Employment information The position is full-time, temporary, from 2024-10-21 or by agreement until 2025-05-31. Your work tasks As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for leading teaching based on the curriculum. This means that you are responsible for planning, implementation, evaluation, analysis and development of teaching. You are part of a team and it is therefore important to be able to collaborate and lead colleagues with other professional roles in the educational work. Based on the curriculum, you work with children in groups while ensuring that each child receives challenges and support based on their needs. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for documenting children's development and learning. You have daily communication with guardians about how the children have been during the day but also about their development and any challenges. About you As a person, you are committed, flexible, positive and solution-oriented. You can lead colleagues and drive development work. In your work, you lead children and groups of children, you arouse curiosity and are easy to build relationships and collaborate with children, guardians and colleagues.
