Sandvik Preschool is a preschool in Holmsund, located on a hill, surrounded by greenery and a 15-minute drive from the city, with frequent buses. Today, the preschool has ten departments and we work in age-related groups 1-3, 3-5 years. We work in close cooperation between younger and older children's departments to take advantage of children and staff's different skills. The preschool has three different outdoor environments that are generous for nature-based play, movement and exploration and the preschool has its own gymnasium where we can go and have indoor exercise. We have a kitchen where all meals are prepared at the preschool and the older children eat in the dining room while the younger children eat in their departments. In the academic year 24/25, we will continue to develop our work with movement, outdoor education and accessible learning and all documentation and communication takes place via the digital tool Unikum. Your work tasks As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for creating a safe and pedagogically developing environment for the children, with a good balance of care and learning. You plan, implement, reflect, analyze and evaluate the educational work with the children in focus. As a preschool teacher, you work independently according to the assignment in the curriculum and in close collaboration with management, colleagues, guardians and other collaborative partners. Qualifications We are looking for you who have preschool teacher training and a strong drive to put the child's best interests and the quality of the preschool in focus. It is advantageous if you have experience as a preschool teacher, but we also welcome newly qualified preschool teachers to apply. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You want to develop the preschool's activities and learning environments together with your team and the principal and as a person you have the balance between being both goal-oriented and relational. As a person, you are structured, responsible and loyal, communicative and can take a reflective approach to developing your and your colleagues' profession towards our common educational mission and the child's opportunity for care, development and learning at the preschool. You know the importance of collegial learning and the value of family involvement and have good interaction and collaboration skills with children and adults.
