The school consists of two buildings, one completely new and the other completely renovated. We have an incredibly nice school with the best possible conditions for both students' and teachers' working environment. The premises are well adapted for the activities and each classroom has its own group room. The premises have a good sound environment with sound-absorbing materials, which creates a quiet study environment. The school has its own small library with a very good selection and there is also the opportunity for group work and book talks. The recreational facilities are well thought out and are located close to the classrooms for grades F-3. The school's outdoor environment is very pleasant and the school is centrally located in the village with proximity to the forest, sports field and electric light trail. The fact that it is a small school and that there are relatively few of us working here enables good cooperation between school and leisure time and it creates a good basic security. The pupils at the school know the staff, and the staff know all the pupils and help each other to see and support the pupils. Working at a village school means that proximity to the pupils and the pupil perspective at the center permeate all parts of the work. We work flexibly and with creative solutions with everything from scheduling to group divisions. The teachers in F-6 participate together in a large team where everyone helps to plan, for example, outdoor days and theme days and participates together in various training initiatives. Work tasks You will work with two main areas of work. One half of the position involves responsibility for the special education part of the school's activities. This responsibility includes participating in the Pupil Health Team's work as part of the EHT where we meet the teachers in a rolling schedule and work on the development of the various classes but also work with support for teachers, students or families. Close collaboration also takes place with the principal where you jointly support educators and you become an important link between the business and the principal. We see collaboration with guardians as a very important part of your work and a prerequisite for creating a good collaboration. You will work in a supervisory capacity with educators in both after-school and school in matters relating to management and stimulation, extra adaptations and special support. In the special education role, you also work with surveys, observations, student interviews and to some extent with individual support for students during periods in collaboration with other educators. You will also be part of the school's Safety Team. The second half of the position involves teaching Swedish in some classes in our basic planning and collaboration with other educators in those classes. There is room to discuss other possible wishes for teaching based on competence if you, for example, have knowledge / interest in art, music. Your task as a teacher in primary school is to plan teaching based on the curriculum, but also to do more overall planning together with colleagues. You will individually and together with colleagues follow up, evaluate and analyze teaching and assess and document students' knowledge development. You are responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' goal achievement. As a teacher, you are responsible for informing pupils and guardians about the pupils' learning progress and sometimes, individually or together with a colleague, having mentoring responsibilities. About you You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment, structure and context for all students. You are well versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You share your knowledge and experience to contribute to collegial learning. Building good relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents is an important part of the teaching role.
