Real Estate is divided into 4 sectors: Construction and Building Services, Property Management, Property Operations and Administration and Strategic Support. Building and Property Technology is responsible for the construction of operational premises for which the municipality is responsible, e.g. preschools, schools, nursing homes and group homes. The volume of construction is approximately SEK 800 million per year. We work actively together to develop our business and strive to be Umeå's most professional builder. As our current project engineer is moving on to another position within the municipality, we are now looking for an experienced project engineer, with an interest in contributing to good social development, to our competent team in Construction and Real Estate Technology at Umeå municipality. As a design engineer with us, you will: Be responsible for our digital drawing archive, which means, among other things, that you handle the delivery and receipt of relational documents and ensure that drawings and model files that come in and are delivered from the system are correct. If necessary, update our relational drawings model files using a 3D scanner and a CAD workstation. Be responsible for our CAD software. Provide support to the department's colleagues by, among other things, preparing drawing documents for our early investigation stages and assisting in the preparation of simple building permit documents. Be an important support in developing the department's work with drawings in order to raise the quality and ensure that we take care of the documentation in a good way over time. About you You have a university degree in construction or other education that we consider equivalent. You have experience as an engineer or secondarily as a building constructor. It is an advantage if you have experience from a similar job in a public sector organization. We assume that you have a good command of the Swedish language and that you have good communication skills where you interact and give feedback in a clear and constructive way. Your cooperation skills are good and you create good long-term relationships with colleagues and other partners. The assignment requires a good ability to plan and structure the work through prioritization, organization and time management.
