The Upper Secondary School and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults and Swedish education for immigrants. The board is also responsible for vocational rehabilitation and for municipal refugee reception. Your tasks As a safety coordinator, you will work both strategically and operationally at all our municipal upper secondary schools (UGS). You will, among other things, work to be a security-creating adult in connection with breaks, lunches and other times outside of class time. If necessary, plan and carry out exercises and training for staff in areas such as threat and violence and drug awareness. The role includes collaboration with the principal and student health regarding the coordination of security work at our municipal upper secondary schools and participation in other relevant networks. You will also participate in the promotional and preventive work of our municipal upper secondary schools and contribute to ensuring that our upper secondary schools remain a safe place for our students. About you We are looking for you who have police training, behavioral science education or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. We want you to have experience of working with children and young people in vulnerable situations and experience of dealing with incidents linked to threats and violence. You should have practical experience in the field of risk and safety assessments, as well as experience in conducting exercises and training in this field. You need to have knowledge of the school's values and the ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You should have experience of working with other organizations and understand the implications of working in a politically governed organization.
