The Upper Secondary School and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults and Swedish language teaching for immigrants. The board is also responsible for vocational rehabilitation and for municipal refugee reception. The upper secondary school's student health service works preventively and promotes health. Pupil health services must also support pupils' development towards their educational goals, and we therefore have a special responsibility to remove obstacles to each individual pupil's learning and development. All pupils must have access to a school nurse, school doctor, counselor, psychologist and staff who have the skills to help pupils with special educational interventions. Your tasks The role of school nurse includes working with health talks, reception visits, work in student health teams and with preventive and health promotion work, both individually and at group level. The work involves close collaboration with pupils, the principal, teachers and other school staff, as well as collaboration with representatives of other authorities and organizations. About you We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse or district nurse. We would like to see that you have worked as a school nurse or in open health care. Experience of working with the age group 16-20 years is an advantage. You have a good ability to work independently while actively working for a functioning teamwork. You have good initiative and, of course, you have a good, respectful treatment and are responsive and open. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
