Stöd och omsorg is responsible for social services in Umeå municipality. The area is divided into three major areas of activity: the exercise of authority, disability care and individual and family care. In order to provide support and create the conditions for our operations to provide a good social service, we have three perspective areas: quality, HR and finance. Within the framework of the quality perspective, there is a unit for systematic quality work. The unit's task is to participate in and create the conditions for systematic quality work, in accordance with the council's management system for systematic quality work. This includes, for example, working with the requirements and objectives that apply to the activities, identifying and developing processes and procedures, working with deviations, activity follow-ups and statistics, analyzing quality and continuous improvements. The unit may also have coordination responsibility for audits, inspections and qualitative measurements. The unit consists of employees with various tasks within the systematic quality work. In addition to the social coordinator (SAS), there are also medically responsible nurses (MAS), process managers, child rights strategists and coordinators in the unit. As the current SAS is retiring, we are now looking for a successor. If quality issues in social services are something that interests and drives you - apply! Your tasks Your primary task is to ensure good quality in the social field within the SRB's area. You will work closely with different roles in the three operational areas and with colleagues in the quality perspective. You provide advice, information and training in the field of social services legislation and therefore stay up-to-date and informed. You support and guide activities in change and improvement work to ensure good quality. The transition based on the new Social Services Act will be a major focus for the organization in the coming years, and you will have an important role in this. You will be responsible for investigating, assessing and possibly reporting the Lex Sarah reports made in the organization to the Swedish Care Inspectorate. You will also be responsible for compiling the organization's work on quality annually in a Quality Report. Sometimes you may coordinate or assist in audits or inspections by supervisory authorities, respond to referrals and, if necessary, carry out various quality audits and investigations. You are responsible for some general procedures and, if necessary, support the development of more operational procedures. You will deliver documentation and present cases to management and, where appropriate, to the political leadership. Other assignments and tasks to ensure good quality may also occur. About you We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another higher education degree that the employer considers relevant. You have several years of experience of social work in a politically controlled organization, preferably in individual and family care or disability care including the exercise of authority. You must also have good knowledge of and be well versed in the legislation that the administration's activities are covered by, and have good knowledge of social documentation. We want you to have experience of qualified work with quality issues in social services, preferably in the form of quality reviews/investigations or supervision. You are analytical and have a good ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions from the information you have. Furthermore, you are sensitive to the various needs of the organization and have a solution-focused approach. The assignment requires good oral and written communication skills, and that you adapt your communication to the recipient and the situation. You see collaboration and cooperation as a natural part of the work. We also want you to have a good ability to plan your work and to work in a systematic and structured way. It is an advantage if you have experience in leadership. In your application, we would particularly like you to describe your experience of working with quality in social services and experience of work where you have used your knowledge of social services legislation.
