Individual and family care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. The adult unit deals with cases concerning people aged 18 and older, with substance abuse problems, mental illness and other social problems. Your work tasks You will work with the target group of adults aged 18 and up, but the target group may vary if we need to help other units. Primarily with people with substance abuse problems, often in combination with mental illness. You will also work with people with other psychosocial problems without substance abuse. Processing applications for accommodation is also part of your duties. The work consists of exercising authority, i.e: - investigation - justification - decision-making - follow-up About you We are looking for you who have social worker training. We want you to have previous experience of investigations and the exercise of authority. We would like to see that you have experience of working with people with addiction and handling cases according to LVM and LVU and also work with homelessness. You may also have experience of working with domestic violence and honor issues. It is advantageous for you to have training and experience of working with ASI, MI, FREDA, solution-focused approach and Treserva. You have a good ability to meet and listen to people. You are also good at taking your own initiative and have the ability to work independently and make your own decisions. The work is unpredictable, which requires flexibility and the ability to reprioritize at short notice. As we often meet people in difficult life situations, it is important that you as a person are secure and stable. You cooperate well with other professions.
