Are you the one? The Investigation Unit works to investigate and provide support and interventions to children, young people and their parents under the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU).
Around 40 employees work at the investigation unit, divided into three working groups. We work according to Barns Behov I Centrum (BBIC), which is a uniform system for child social care. The goal is to conduct good quality social work with the child's needs in focus. The work is based on knowledge, accessibility, continuity, participation and a holistic approach.
We also work actively to create a workplace that gives all employees the right conditions to do a good job. We want all activities to have a health-promoting approach and we strive for a rich work content, job satisfaction, community and personal development for all employees.
From 2022, we are part of Yrkesresan, which is a national skills initiative for staff in the social services' exercise of authority for children and young people. As a new employee, you will be gradually introduced to the unit's tasks. You will also receive internal and external case guidance to support you in your work and to develop your professional role.
We are now looking for four new colleagues.
Work tasks
Your tasks mainly consist of investigating children's need for protection and support, as well as deciding on and following up on interventions according to current legislation.
You will have a varied job with freedom under responsibility and the opportunity to influence. It is a great mix of tasks where no two days are the same. Expect challenges in everyday life, but also stimulating, meaningful and developing tasks together with fantastic colleagues.
Are you the person we are looking for?
You have the ability to act and manage situations in complex environments. The work is often unpredictable, which requires flexibility and the ability to reprioritize at short notice. In this work we often meet people in difficult life situations and therefore it is important that you as a person are safe and stable. You are also good at taking your own initiative and have the ability to work independently and make your own decisions.
You want to actively participate in the development of the organization and contribute to a good working environment. You are committed to your work and can see the investigation work as part of a change process with a focus on children's needs and right to safe growing conditions. You have good cooperation skills with both the families you meet and with colleagues and cooperation partners. You can see the needs of individuals and place them in a holistic perspective.
You have administrative skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for people with a degree in social work and experience of working in social services or similar activities. The tasks also require you to have a B driving license.
