The Upper Secondary School and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults and Swedish language teaching for immigrants. The board is also responsible for vocational rehabilitation and for municipal refugee reception. Forslundagymnasiet is a nature-based upper secondary school located in a beautiful rural setting only 5 km from Umeå city center. The upper secondary school has about 200 students including special upper secondary school and adult education in gardening and land and construction. The school has its own farm, with around 60 dairy cows, calves and a sheep herd. There are 190 ha of arable land for crop cultivation, all of which is produced organically. The school also has a dormitory. The school has horse stables, a dog training hall and an animal house with about 100 different species of small animals (fish, birds, reptiles, mammals). Your tasks You will work with pedagogical investigations, EHT work, supervision of teachers at group and individual level and other special educational tasks. About you You are a qualified special needs teacher with a subject teacher diploma for upper secondary school. You have experience as a special needs teacher in upper secondary school. You have a good ability to build trusting relationships with both students and colleagues. You are responsible and structured, with the ability to plan and adapt your approach to different needs and situations. Your flexibility allows you to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and you enjoy working in teams to create a positive and supportive environment for all.
