Your tasks As a special education teacher at Östermalmsskolan, you work on behalf of the principal and are responsible for ensuring that students are challenged to optimal learning based on their individual conditions. You plan, implement and follow up the work in close collaboration with the teachers. You document the students' development in the form of, for example, educational mapping and action programs. This means that you will support the teachers in how they can organize their teaching so that the education is accessible, inclusive and creates participation for all students. You will systematically reflect on and evaluate the practical work individually and together with others. About you We are looking for you who have special education training. You are knowledgeable, committed, creative and see the benefits of collaborating with colleagues to create good conditions for students' development and learning. You work at organizational, operational and individual level and will be part of our overall student health team. Together in the team, you work with promotional, preventive and remedial work with staff and students from preschool class to grade 6. You have experience of coordinating support measures for students, interacting with guardians and students and supervising educational staff. You have good experience of adaptations and interventions for students in need of extra support as well as npf adaptations. You are well acquainted with Prorenata. A large part of the role is about collaboration and contacts between different parties, this requires you to be communicative, trustworthy and have good collaboration skills. You will meet people in different situations and with different conditions, which requires good empathic ability and that you are responsive. Creating good relationships is a prerequisite for the work, which is why we attach great importance to personal suitability.
