The school is centrally located in Sävar, close to nature, the sports hall and the swimming pool. At Sävar school we have three parallel classes from grades F-6, and the teachers work closely with each other by grade and in subject teams and in collaboration with the after-school program. You are part of the F-6 team, work closely with other special needs teachers and special educators at the school and are an important part of the F-6 student health team. Your work tasks As a special education teacher, you work to analyze students' development opportunities and adapt working methods to the students' needs. You work preventively to remove obstacles in the learning environment, develop the work with support interventions and provide support in the work for students in need of special support. You are responsible for providing professional guidance to a number of mentors and teachers. You will work with different types of interventions at group and individual level. You have previous experience of working in Prorenata Journal with documentation or equivalent systems. You are structured, solution-oriented and professional in your work. You have a high degree of relational competence and thus the ability to cooperate and create positive relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. About you We are looking for you who are trained as a special education teacher and special education teacher degree with a focus on language, writing and reading development. You have a teaching license / have applied for a teaching license. You have previous experience of supervising teachers and teaching pupils in preschool classes, primary schools and pupils with special needs. You have the ability to individualize and vary your assignment based on the needs of the students. You take great personal responsibility, act independently, are innovative, development-oriented and solution-focused. You work well in collaboration with the principal, teachers and other school staff and have the ability to build good relationships with students.
