Umeå Kultur runs the city library in the Väven cultural center, ten local libraries and a library bus, the Culture School and the Women's History Museum. Another area of responsibility is to support and strengthen cultural activities, especially among children and young people, and to conduct its own program activities. Umeå's public libraries are part of the Umeå region's library cooperation with a common media stock, loan system and the website minabibliotek.se. We are now looking for 3 - 5 vacation substitutes for the city library and some of our local libraries. Your work tasks As a librarian, you will work to guide all our target groups based on their questions and information needs. You need to be prepared to work with all the tasks that occur in a library, such as book setting, borrower guidance and reference work. About you We are looking for you who have an academic degree in library and information science. You have an inclusive approach and the ability to create good meetings. You enjoy working in an outgoing manner with a focus on a high level of service. You enjoy meeting people of all ages. You are good at working with others and can also work independently.
