The Employment and Integration Department is responsible for the integration of new arrivals, labor market issues, activities for national minorities and vulnerable EU migrants in Umeå municipality. We help with guidance, create opportunities and contribute to new pathways for people who need support to enter and progress in society and working life. As part of the labor market and integration department, there are arenas for testing where we provide workplaces for participants who are offered vocational rehabilitation. Type of employment Temporary. 100%. Probationary period of 6 months may apply. Number of places 1 place if the necessary decisions are taken Arenas for testing Arenor för prövning offers places for participants who need support to move towards self-sufficiency. The work-oriented rehabilitation is mainly carried out in collaboration with Social Services, the Social Insurance Agency, the Public Employment Service and Region Västerbotten. Arenor för prövning can offer a range of different work activities in a couple of different departments - where each participant is evaluated based on the basic requirements of working life. Each department has supervisors who are responsible for the daily work with the work elements and participants, and as a supervisor you are expected to lead the daily work together with colleagues to make the activities work. The work activities offered by the trial arenas are mainly focused on reuse/recycling in various forms. Our operations are characterized by an environmentally conscious circular thinking - and every day a large amount of things are handled where the goal is to reuse these. The things we receive are sold through our return shop / building recycling and with a total shop area of about 1,900 square meters, we are Norrland's largest recycling shop. Our premises are filled with clothes, furniture, computers, bicycles, household goods, books, toys, movies, music, paintings and building materials. As a Trial Site Supervisor, you will work with, among other things: Responsible for the vocational rehabilitation offered to participants within the framework of the youth center and adult center (depending on the assignment, other target groups may also be relevant). Ensure that the work carried out is designed to suit the target group in order to provide the best possible individual conditions for the participant to succeed, where the goal is continued vocational rehabilitation externally. Collaborate with other parties involved around the participant, such as social services, the Employment Service and the Social Insurance Agency. Participate in designing - and be responsible for continuously correcting - the individual plan that the participant has. Work closely with the participants and continuously evaluate each participant's abilities, and on this basis adapt work steps and instructions. Document each participant individually. Attend follow-up meetings with participants. Work on the basis of established procedures and guidelines and help develop these to contribute to continuous improvement. Work practically with reuse and recycling work, and together with your colleagues manage the daily operations. Qualifications We are looking for you who have A university degree in social work, behavioral science, rehabilitation or pedagogy. Experience in vocational rehabilitation. Experience of coordinating the daily work in an organization. Experience of documenting around an individual. Experience in the field of mental health, rehabilitation and disabilities. It is highly advantageous if you also have experience of shop work - and/or experience of similar activities with recycling work/practical work in combination with work trials. Experience of practical work linked to construction is also an advantage. We would also like to see that you have Education in Supported employment/training (ST/SE) Training in MI/coach training Experience of collaboration between authorities and municipalities and within your own municipality Truck license Working together in a four-party collaboration based on your own assignment with a common goal for the participant requires the ability to understand your own role, your own assignment and at the same time work for the whole for the participant and other parties in the collaboration. This requires sensitivity, the ability to understand the role/assignment/regulations of other parties and to be able to work towards jointly set goals. We are looking for you who have good knowledge and experience of the labor market and the conditions set in working life. You have knowledge of the ways and means of establishing yourself in the labor market and experience of working with people in need of support. You have previous experience of working with people with mental health problems and disabilities that affect their ability to work. You have a solution-focused approach and work based on seeing the strengths of the participants you meet. We would like to see that you have worked in collaboration with other authorities/organizations and have an established network of contacts among companies and organizations. You understand the importance of cooperation and actively contribute to a well-functioning collaboration with participants, colleagues and other parties involved. As a person, you are confident and inspire trust. You are not afraid to make demands and are clear in your communication. You work in a structured, goal-oriented and solution-oriented way, and are sensitive to participants' abilities and needs for adaptation. You need to have a genuine interest in working with the target group and believe in the possibility that people who are far from the labor market with the right support can succeed in reaching, getting and keeping a job.
