Byttgränd's short-term accommodation is part of the disability care in Umeå municipality and offers children and young people with LSS decisions a safe, structured and development-oriented environment where the individual's needs and conditions are at the center. The short-term stay provides a change of scenery, the opportunity for leisure activities and social interaction while providing relief for the families. Through an individualized approach and evidence-based methods, conditions are created to promote independence, social participation and a meaningful leisure time. The business is located in Ersboda, close to green areas and other activity opportunities, which contributes to a varied and enriching stay. Your work tasks As an employee at Byttgränd's short-term accommodation, you are part of a working group that works to create a safe, meaningful and developing stay for children and young people. Together with your colleagues, you support the individual's ability to live as independent a life as possible and contribute to a stimulating and safe environment. You will actively participate in the daily lives of children and young people by supporting daily routines such as meals, cleaning, laundry and personal care. You will plan and implement activities such as walks, play, crafts and games to promote social inclusion and meaningful leisure time. An important part of the job is also to collaborate with parents and ensure that each child receives the support needed. The work also includes documentation, record keeping, preparation of implementation plans and medication management. Threats and violence and heavy lifting occur in the workplace. Scheduled working hours day, evening, weekend, day night. Co-planning in the disability area children / young people occurs in the service. About you As a person, you are confident, calm and committed. You have good cooperation skills and a professional approach to users, relatives and other actors. You share our values and strive to develop the business through continuous improvement. We attach great importance to personal suitability. You have previously worked in environments where threats and violence can occur and have the ability to handle these situations in a professional manner. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Requirements Educated nanny, assistant nurse or other education that the employer considers equivalent Experience of working with children and young people Experience of flame-effective treatment in situations of threat and violence Meritorious Experience working with children/adults with autism and intellectual disabilities Experience with AAC/TAKK Experience with positive behavioral support (PBS) Experience in clarifying pedagogy To ensure that the people invited to interview are those who best match what we are looking for, we use selection questions.
