Disability care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. Ordinary housing is organized in the disability care and here you will find short-term supervision, short-term housing, relief service and home care and the National High School for children and young people. Daily activities/employment, housing support and dependency treatment teams for adults over 18. Daily activities should contribute to personal development and promote participation in society based on the participant's needs and conditions. The activities must include habilitation, opportunities for development and production-oriented tasks. This is to enable meaningful employment based on current legislation. The overall goal of daily activities is to develop the individual's independence, create a sense of context and the opportunity to work. Holmsund's daily activities are group activities for participants with intellectual disabilities that are divided into various smaller groups focusing on crafts, paper, carpentry and various service assignments. We are now looking for a support assistant for our exciting business! Your work tasks Your main tasks are to plan, lead, structure and develop activities based on the individual's needs for a meaningful daily activity. You will be part of a team where you and your colleagues together are responsible for planning the activities and ensuring that the tasks of the organization are carried out.Your way of working is characterized by flexibility, continuity and security. We work with a low-effective approach and the cooperation of the entire work group is important to create security and stability as well as motivate and strengthen the participant's ability towards an independent life.The role of support assistant also includes social documentation such as work with implementation plans, record keeping and more. About you We are looking for you who are an assistant nurse, social worker or have another education that the employer considers equivalent. We want you to have experience of working in the field of disability care and that you have experience of dealing with people with neuropsychiatric and intellectual disabilities through previous work. We would like you to be curious and have a willingness to share our values and to work towards set goals and to work with continuous improvements. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability but it is meritorious if you have: - Experience in low impact interventions - Experience of working with structure, planning, motivation and supervision - Experience with signs as support - Basic computer skills Co-planning may take place between our operations.
