We are now looking for a support assistant to join our team at the group home at Löftets gränd 37. The accommodation is a special accommodation according to LSS for people with intellectual disabilities. The working hours are scheduled for day, evening and weekend as well as on-call duty (sleeping night). Co-planning between our operations may occur. Your tasks As a support assistant, you will work to provide practical support to residents at home, but also help them deal with various social situations. We work together with our residents to increase their independence in the areas of housing, work, employment/school and leisure. The assignment is an independent work but in close cooperation with the user, colleagues and relevant cooperation partners. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse or have another education that we consider equivalent. You have experience in the field of support and care and support assistant tasks. We would like you to have experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities and autism. We value a professional approach that includes humility, patience and flexibility. The job requires the ability to work independently, to take initiative and to express yourself well in speech and writing. We also want commitment and openness to development work both in your own workplace and in the entire field of activity. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and receive medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
